Chippenham v Hungerford abandoned after Rob Dean injury

Chippenham's Southern Premier game at Hungerford was abandoned in the first half after away midfielder Rob Dean suffered a broken leg.

The 24-year-old was tackled by Ian Herring half an hour into the game, with the score at 0-0.

Midfielder Herring was sent off for the challenge and Dean was treated on the pitch by paramedics.

The referee ended the match because of the severity of the injury, and Dean was eventually taken to hospital.
