Tamworth have signed teenage striker Connor Waldon on a month's loan from Swindon Town, managed by former Lambs boss Mark Cooper.
The 18-year-old, who has the option of extending his stay until the end of the season, can make his Lambs debut at Alfreton on Thursday night.
"We were looking to add to our options up front," said boss Dale Belford.
"Connor has the chance to come into a good environment and learn off experienced lads like Nick Chadwick."
Waldon has netted seven times in 10 games on loan with Conference North side Gloucester City this season.
"He has had two good loan spells, at Frome and at Gloucester, where he has proved he can score goals." added boss Belford.
"He has been in and around the first-team squad at Swindon this season and is highly-rated by Mark Cooper."
Tamworth, who lie 21st in the Conference Premier, are through to the quarter-finals of the FA Trophy.
They booked their place in the last eight with Tuesday night's replay victory at Northern Premier League side Chorley, winning 6-5 on penalties following a 2-2 draw, after Saturday's original tie at The Lamb finished 1-1.
Belford's men must now travel to Cleethorpes to meet Grimsby Town in the quarter-final at Blundell Park on 1 February.
