Carlisle have extended the loan of Hull City defender Conor Townsend for a further two months.
The 20-year-old moved to Brunton Park on an initial one-month loan and has since made three appearances for the Cumbrians amid a period of upheaval.
Former boss Greg Abbott, who brought him to the club, was sacked with assistant Graham Kavanagh taking over on a caretaker basis.
"Conor has adapted to life in League One," Kavanagh told the club website.
Townsend will be available for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie with Morecambe next month after Hull gave permission.
