Kilmarnock manager Allan Johnston rues lost advantage
Kilmarnock manager Allan Johnston was left frustrated by at Rugby Park.
The Ayrshire side led at half-time through Barry Nicholson's impressive strike but Liam Craig's second-half double won the match for Hibs.
"We actually played well, played some nice football," said Johnston. "It's just that bit of quality we need.
"Obviously you're disappointed when you get beat in any game but for long periods we controlled the game."
Johnston urged his players to make more of their possession and said of Nicholson's opener: "An unbelievable finish, he took it really well. He's capable of that.
"For all the good play we had, we just didn't have a enough shots on goal.
"We created chances and we just need to be a wee bit more clinical in front of goal.
"You need to pick up points, we've got to win games like that. When you're on top like that, you've got to take your chances and you've got to win; you've got to defend better as a team."
