Partizan Belgrade coach Vuk Rasovic unhappy despite win

Partizan Belgrade coach Vuk Rasovic was not impressed as his Serbian champions needed a late winner to beat Novi Pazar 4-3 - despite the visitors being unable to name any substitutes.

Novi Pazar could not register any summer signings because of outstanding debts to former players.

Subsitute Predrag Luka scored an 87th-minute winner for Partizan after Novi Pazar had Ibrahim Arifovic sent off.

"There is absolutely nothing to cheer about here except the result," Rasovic said.

Novi Pazar assistant coach Izet Ljajic added: "I am proud of the players because they played their hearts out and it's a pity we came away with nothing from this game because we deserved something."

The other winners on the opening day in Serbia were Javor Ivanjica, Napredak, Radnicki Nis, OFK Beograd and Cukaricki.
