Meet the Agars: Joy at son's debut
- From the section Cricket
Ashton Agar's father tells BBC Look East it was a dream come true for his son to make his Australia Test debut at the age of 19.
Ashton made headlines by scoring 98 against England at Trent Bridge and is likely to keep his place for Thursday's second Test at Lord's, with Australia one down in the five-match series.
His father John, born in Melbourne but whose family are originally from Essex, was at Hadleigh & Thundersley Cricket Club to watch Ashton's brothers Wes, 16, and William, 17, play in a match against a Lashings All Stars side.
