Russell Martin: Norwich defender signs new Canaries deal
Norwich City defender Russell Martin has agreed a new three-year contract to keep him at Carrow Road until 2016.
The 27-year-old Scotland international joined the Canaries from Peterborough United in 2009, initially on loan.
He has gone on to make 146 appearances for the Norfolk club, playing 36 times last season as they maintained their Premier League status.
"I'm extremely delighted - everyone knows how I feel about playing for this club," Martin told the club site.
Martin, who was part of Norwich's League One-winning side in 2010, added: "Since I first arrived here it's gone unbelievably well and I feel really settled in the area.
"I'm happy playing for this club and I've got a great relationship with the players, staff and the supporters, and I'm just delighted to be here for another three years."
