Roger Lemerre quits as coach of Algeria's Constantine
Former France manager Roger Lemerre is leaving Algerian club CS Constantine after opting not to extend his one-year contract, the club said on Wednesday.
Lemerre, who led France to Euro 2000 success and Tunisia to the 2004 Africa Cup of Nations title, had been in charge of Constantine since July 2012.
The 71-year-old guided the club to fourth place in the Algerian league.
In a statement he apologised to supporters for leaving, saying he made the decision for family reasons.
