"THE CELTIC FOOTBALL AND ATHLETIC COMPANY LIMITED" became "CELTIC PLC" on 15th December 1994 and continues to exist having been incorporated on 12 April 1897. Its the umbrella company for Celtic and has up to date accounts.So this talk of new clubs etc surrounding Celtic are rubbish. And for the record I cannot stand the club anyway. But the truth is the truth about the owning entity
RoyalGooner. There are teams up here in Scotland that have won trophies over the last 8 years. You remember trophies? I hope you enjoy further trophyless years and your pathetic little battle with Spurs to get 4th place. That must be so exciting for you.
@76.......you must be "Scottish".....!!
I have said it before and I will say it again. Get rid of this numptie and his side kick DUNGcaster and we are 50% on our way to rebuilding a better system. They have made millions over the years from Scotland and DONE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING POSITIVE.....
@75Ah, you're "English" are you?
That's it guys, talk up Scottish football then start scoring silly points about this club is liquidated.....no your club is liquidated....then you wonder why we English laugh at your comments...Scottish football is dying & no one seems to care...so carry on old chaps.......:-)
Oh boo hoo the SPL is struggling to find a sponsor. Perhaps if you weren't trying to rush through reconstruction this summer, instead making plans and voting and deciding on reconstruction to take effect in a year or 2 to give people time to prepare. The Champions League doesn't use the previous year's co-efficient to determine the next year's places. It's madness typical SPL.
Who would want their brand tainted by the association with the SPL?You couldn't give away a sponsorship deal.
63 yeah thats it blame rangers for your own short falls you didnt need to buy forgien players you done it off your own backs nobodys fault but your own thats what wee get told every minute of the day on this
The condescension of BBC Scotland is breathtaking! We can enjoy gnashing our Gums on here about 'Sport,' but just try to do that on any Political Story on this site--you can't!I feel for Mr. Regan, trying to make a Commercial Case for a an Organisation of 'Blazers' who would 'cause a fight in an empty Hoose!' Self interest and bitterness rules the Day, and Ban Ki Moon could not fix it!
