"I'm disappointed to be leaving such a great club..........."Then why leave? As bad as rvp!! He should have stayed and achieved with Everton. Surely that success would be far sweeter. Even as a Gooner I'm disappointed in him!
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1301712/Buy-buy-Martin-How-ONeill-spent-120million-years-Aston-Villa.htmla good job at villa without spending big? o'neill is tactically inept, has no plan b and nearly ruined our club signing no hopers on huge contracts. i hope for your sake you don't get martin o'neill.
I'm more concerned with who'll replace him at Everton, hopefully Martin O'Niell will get the job. He's a decent man-manager as opposed to the types who need to spend big to get results. Despite his Sunderland failures, he's done just as well as Moyes with Villa, Leicester City and Wycombe Wanderers in the past given time to develop. His time at Celtic is unrivalled .
While Moyes is a decent manager and has done tremendous job at Everton, he dragged his refused to sing a new contract because he was sure for united job. Scotsman tends to recommend his job to other fellow Scots manager. At Everton Job moyes was recommended by walter Smith, and equally Fergie has recommended Moyes for United Job......And Moyes will recommend a fellow scot for Everton Job..
Moyes will be just fine with Ferguson to advise/assist him. There will be a few silver wares to win next season for certain. Ferguson is not prepared to see MANU go down hill with a person he chose.
Fergie did good for our club, but picking Moyes as his successor is a bit sentimental and sentiments often don't bring success. Why not someone who has tested European glory like him? In 86 Fergie came with European Cup with Aberdeen, but Moyes not much can be said. Perhaps Fergie really wanted us to appreciate him more by living us in the hands of someone he sure knows he is better than.
831.Red devil 17League Cup last year is a trophy you sad tube. You mention Heysel ...this is my proof that you are sitting there in front of your PC sweating with rage.....totally stressed out
Mitch,You don't get it, your so stupid, spent £216m sold £150m so nett £76m I pity DUMB people like youArlWhiskyNoseizneymorAfter the Heysel disaster, caused by rioting L'pool fans, I'm amazed UEFA let you play in Europe again, keep spouting very old history about what you won, nothing this decade lol
Here's a fact. We have our very own European Cup, given to us after Instanbul. Also when you win it 5 times UEFA give you a special blue badge to put on your club shirt to signify this monumental achievement that only 3 clubs have so far managed in the history of the most difficult trophy to win. The only blue badge fergie has got is for his parking spec at Tescos.
also hiding behind net spend is a kop out, judging a club I guess is fine by it, but its hardly fair on a new manager to judge him on past managers spending, that's why it dosent work when comparing managers.
822.Red devil 17 - net spend is 2 words man utd hide behind . the fact is 2002-2006 fergy spent 216m which in todays money is about what man city have spent. but don't like that fact do youplease answer this and only this please - > 2002-06 216mill was spent, how much is that in todays money? is it maybe near what man city have spent of late?
Well, this is is a dismissable offence no matter how many Trophies a manager has won - but for one oddity. They were *so bad, could it be that *Mancini simply overhauls half the squad? Half that group seemed to move through the Matrix. Zabaleta, Nasri simply abject, not-at-the-races stuff, yet seemed as though that *Aguero goal never went in against QPR at the final whistle.Shortchanged.
@818. _mitch_ Don't mention how much Man U have spent over the decades, the glory hunter plastics can't handle the facts.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fY7hLId94Y0the goal for Man utd fans to watch city get destroyed
Mancini might be a candidate for Everton manager after today's result!!
820.Rancho Mirage - if only it worked that way mate, his inability to win in 11 years at top clubs grounds is a big worry. other managers have the nous to. martin o'neil is an example although his actually won things, some managers cant handle money, cant handle top clubs, moyes is one of them, when pressures on he fails, like getting knock-out in prem rounds of euro cup. and not winning
@817 & 818You 2 are so sad, can't get any FACTS RIGHT, Its nett spend that counts, in 20 seasons United's is £234m, Chelski £769m, city £423m, & L'pool are not far behind city, city's season has just gone down the lavatory, manager will be gone in a week or so, if Rodges doesn't produce next year he will be goneThe Big Red Manchester Machine will keep rolling on21 next year,
That was the most sluggish, uncreative and dismal performance I've ever seen from an EPL team this season, nevermind who!ManC simply dreadful, lol! No drive forward, no slickness and forwards movement of passes - the old quicksand trick again.Set piece goal, soooo Cupsett-ish, but, meh, awful preceding 90mins by opponents.Roberto - Cupset - and minted b4 Moyes, LOL! Congrats.
