Man City's Yaya Toure fit to play in FA Cup final
Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has declared himself fully fit to face Wigan in Saturday's FA Cup final.
The Ivorian played only 45 minutes of Saturday's Premier League draw with Swansea because of fatigue and also sat out the midweek win over West Brom.
"Sometimes it is difficult to play all the games at the same level and to avoid injury," said the 29-year-old.
"But we have worked on ensuring I stay injury-free and concentrated on delivering at the weekend."
City will be desperate to salvage something from a season which saw them lose their league title to bitter rivals Manchester United and suffer an embarrassing exit from the Champions League after finishing bottom of their group.
Toure, who has scored 11 goals this season and helped City qualify for another crack at Europe's premier club competition, is eager to be at his best for the Wembley showpiece.
"I am already fit. I started training three days ago and I am well in now," he said.
"I want to deliver a good game and help the team to achieve something important."
