I had a post deleted for pointing out that the English FA offered expensive gifts including Holidays and Designer Handbags to FIFA officials, which they took. This is fully documented and reported and is technically illegal under US law, which seems to be the driving force in these matters now ask BAE.As JB194 states we are not whiter than whiter than white.
FIFA, UEFA & the FA there all the same only the names will changed ........... and they say Luis Suarez brings the game into disrepute
And they say Luis Suarez brings the game in to disrepute ...............

I have to laugh at these pathetic anti-FIFA posts here which paint the English as whiter than white and who will rid the world of these awful people because they failed to persuade their 200 members to vote for the "greatest soccer power that ever lived and who host the richest, best, (most-hyped league)" to wallow in the glory of hosting another World Cup - and who obviously havent got over it!
FIFA and football world is the last dictatorship standing after Saddam Husein, Gaddafi and Mubarak. Those three dictators appeared solid, with no opposition, but they went down. Same will happen to Blatter.British laws on bribes allow prosecution of people who are not British citizens and not even residing in Britain. FA has tools, use them!
Bent as a tin of chips
I would gladly donate to a fund set-up to keep the best investigative journalists around all over FIFA until they bring it down. Get someone o\n the inside. Hell, pay someone on the indise, but get what's needed to send that fat swiss bufoon behind bars for the rest of his life. Unfortunately public hanging isn't an option these days.
Alexandra Wrage: "Opportunities for change have been evaded, finessed or re-directed; he deftly avoids discussion of the recommendations that simply fell off the table over time. "He did not debate them and did not explain himself; this is no surprise from a man who describes FIFA as if it were a sovereign state over which he presides."Blatter: Kiss my rear. I'm the king.
FIFA anti-corruption adviser Alexandra Wrage has resigned due to a perceived lack of progress from the organisation in improving internal transparencyWrage is the president of international compliance expert TRACE. She is no mug.FIFA's current percieved public image. Greedy, unethical, poisionous, Criminal.Cut out the rot or it festers. I am disgusted & that's putting it mildly.
FIFA itself is less corrupt as bribery Acts of developed nations have been improved over the years. It is the 3rd world football associations, where local laws are unenforced, whose football representatives are also involved in politics...that is where the corruption lies. Read Concacaf Ethics Report into Warner/Blazer/Havelange; the most blatant avoidance of corporate governance you'll ever see.
In fact the only reason this has come to light is Warner and co got greedy, developed visions of grandeur, thought they could shift Blatter from his throne so had to be disposed of on the grounds they were corrupt. When everyone knows, and everyone knows everyone knows they're all at it. What a joke!!!
Andrew Jennings has at least helped restored the reputation of Panorama.
