We need more away goals - Allardyce

Manager Sam Allardyce concedes that West Ham's away goals tally is "too poor" after a 2-1 Premier League away defeat to Manchester City.

Andy Carroll scored a "consolation" goal for the Hammers but not before Sergio Aguero's first-half strike and a "wonder goal" from Yaya Toure had won City the game.

The Hammers have scored just 11 away goals in the Premier League this season - the joint lowest in the division - and Allardyce believes he needs "better players" to improve on that.
