Morton 0-2 Hamilton Academical

Second-top Morton suffered a Division One title defeat hangover as they were defeated at Cappielow by in-form Hamilton Academical.

With Partick Thistle having wrapped up the championship last weekend, Steven May netted both goals as Accies leapfrogged Falkirk into fourth place.

Alex Neil's side could have gone ahead in the 22nd minute, but Ali Crawford could only head wide after he was found in the area by May's cross.

The miss proved not to be costly as the duo combined again in the 29th minute to give the Accies the lead.

Crawford found May just inside the area and the striker curled an effort into the top right corner.

The visitors doubled their lead 10 minutes after the break as Michael Devlin flicked on Crawford's corner and May was on hand to bundle the ball over the line for his second of the contest.
