Guernsey FC head coach Tony Vance faces selection dilemma

Guernsey FC head coach Tony Vance faces selection problems for his side's trip to Farnham Town.

The game is the Green Lions' fourth in five days as they fight to clear their fixture backlog.

"We're struggling for Tuesday night because we've got a lot of injuries," Vance told BBC Radio Guernsey.

"We have got to try and find a squad. We have a few people running on empty and a few have other commitments away from football so it's difficult."

One player who definitely misses out is Sam Cochrane after he picked up an injury in Sunday's draw with Camberley Town.

However, Guernsey will welcome back long-term injury victims Angus Mackay and club captain Matt Warren to ease the selection worries.

"Sam is injured, he's pulled a quad or his groin but I think we can just about pull 14 together," Vance added.

"But we'll go again, these boys are tremendous and they'll continue to put their bodies on the line."
