Woking 1-1 Hereford

Kevin Betsey struck in the second half to earn Woking a point against Hereford in the Blue Square Bet Premier.

The Bulls went ahead on the stroke of half-time when defender Joe McNerney headed Chris Bush's long throw past his own goalkeeper.

The hosts made a bright start to the second half and were soon level when Betsey fired home Bradley Bubb's cross.

Both sides are in with a faint shout of the play-offs but neither could produce a winning goal.

Woking coach 'happy after a tough week'

Woking coach Steve Thompson told BBC Surrey Sport:

"We looked a little tired today, but we fully deserved the point and I thought we were the team pushing for the win.

"It's been a very tough week and obviously we would have liked to get more than three points from three games.

"I felt we were going to get the winner but we got in to some good positions but we just lacked the quality for the final ball and the sharpness; maybe due to the tiredness.

"We would like to pick up three wins from the next five games but it's going to be tough, but that's the aim."
