League Two side Southend have signed Millwall midfielder Tamika Mkandawire on a one-month loan deal.
The 29-year-old scored once in 12 appearances during a spell at Roots Hall earlier this season.
Shrimpers boss Paul Sturrock told the club website: "He will be available for seven League Two matches and of course the Johnstone's Paint Trophy [final].
"I think we've missed him since he returned to Millwall so to have him back is fantastic."
Mkandawire said: "I know all of the lads and have kept in touch with them since I went back to Millwall so it should be easy for me to settle back in.
"Hopefully I can play a big part, help the team back into the play-offs and play a part at Wembley in the final."
