Why oh why is everyone having a go at newcastle for having a bad season ! We have had the worst injury list in all the prem and add to that we have extra games because we are in europe ! when our main players return we will get the points needed and stay up. The main thing is we add to the squad with quality players as the ones who have come in to replace the injured ones are just not up to it !
THANK GOD we have another striker !!!Secondly WHY do we even still have shola ameobi !!!!!HE IS NOT A STRIKER !!!! someone at newcastle needs to go and look at his goal scoring record for al lhis time at newcastle it is SHOCKING !278 apps and only 57 goals !!!!! Heskey has a better scoring record than him !!!!
Now all newcastle need is joey barton and their french revolution would be complete... oui?
Since when is buying young cheap talent panicking?? We have our best players coming back and there are worse teams below us still. Yep they are all French, so everyone would be happier if we got a Spaniard, an Italian, a German and a Brazilian? I do hope our next away strip is the French national colours, that would be canny funny.
With newcastle buying all these french players it sems it panic buys by nufc to stave off relegation as they in a hopless situation and comes easter will more than likely be in the bottom three.
That is not Yoan Gouffran in the photo above!

pardew the hypocritical plonker
if you actually watch newcastle games and not the highlights cabaye for example (gentle) gets stuck in and ben arfa (mentally fragile) has the confidence play his natural game and run at the opposition risking having lumps kicked out of him the whole matchno one should really judge the new signings untill the end of the season.... or quite a few matches at least
@143 'too gentle and mentally fragile for the premier league'Do you include Eric Cantona in this statement??
We now have a complete set at Francastle.Let's see if they have the balls for the relegation fight.Even Arsenal has quietly and drastically reduced their numbers. They are technically good but too gentle and mentally too fragile for the Premier League.
re 106. the main disappointment with Saturday's line is the failure to sign Asterix's main strike partner Obelix. Asterix runs the risk of testing positive for performance enhancing drugs whereas Obelix fell into the Cauldron and the magic potion had a permanant effect. I blame Llambias who would only sanction a 1 boar per match bonus for the rotund Frenchman
I remember Gouffran having a highly influential year or two for Bordeaux when they won the championship under Laurent Blanc. Gouffran was linked with a number of big clubs at that point. When Blanc left for the France job, they lost a few players too, and they never really recovered. Will be interesting to see how he compares in the Premier League, hope he does well for Newcastle's sake.
