am so sick and tired of Alex Ferguson and Manchester United as one of their players have been cheating and knocked West Ham out of the club meanwhile one of the West Ham players did the same thing but they got punished while Manchester United player hasn't. Now Sam has got a fine and been banned for speaking up the truth. All managers should be allowed to speak up if the Referee is wrong.
@321...Suarez wants to be involved in the champions league, and he should be he's good enough, but it wont be happening at liverpool for a few years yet the squad is simply not deep enough,an example is young sterling,he'd be nurtured in the under 21's at utd,and another thing if he was getting supplied by a decent midfield or had some help up front he wouldn't need to dive around so much
@346. I hope your comment remains up and is not deleted. Not because I agree but because it stands as a reminder how bitter some sickos can get over football. You need to grow up kid. Is that you Yannis ?

This game once again prove that fergie is past it, his tactics were terrible, as were the fans. Man U should follow southampton and cut ties with their dead weight manager. Im sure if the fans has their say fergie would be cast aside like a used beer can from Paul scholes thin, alocholic lips.
Re343Yes United have had a lot decisions go there way, some very embarrassing, but not corrupt, how could anyone keep it quiet But have seen all teams get decision that have won them games, people focus on Man U because of them winning so much, L'pool had it in the 70s, re342 if brown envelopes win titles Chelsea & Man City would be winning everything
@349I'm a season ticket holder and know we have been very lucky this year, but the ethics at Man U is keep playing until the final whistle and you have not lost until its blown................................................no need uf the brown envelope has been exchanged as per
Re 340 Steven76-77 season L'pool won the 1st division & European cup, Man U were in the 2nd division and still had bigger crowds than L'poolAnd we beat them in the FA Cup final to stop them doing the treble,I'm a season ticket holder and know we have been very lucky this year, but the ethics at Man U is keep playing until the final whistle and you have not lost until its blown
This forum is for why MU could still beat us *Ammers, what we are trying to say is, we don't have millions in the bank, we don't have a huge squad to rotate "tired" players, but what we do have is fans that support WHUFC even when things are bad, how many MU supporters will still buy thier merchandise if MU went down to the Championship? Money buys success, that and a a good manager.
That's because the fans are all over the World, Sams Town. The clue was in the post.
@334. HMS_KnightHawk There is only one United, Manchester United 400 million + Fans all over the world,============And yet can't fill the ground?
@HammerSmiff / stevedk - Oh my those days....used to have two paper- rounds to get 6-quid - spent the lot every week to get to the North Bank from 1978 - I could afford the train from Berkhamsted (Herts) to Euston and all the way out to Upton Park - a quid an a half to get in, a program and a burger - David Cross / Pop Robson, Devo, Our Trev, oh and Ray Stewart took the pens - awesome.
@HammerSmiff & stevedkGuys you seem to have mistaken this for a forum to have a sensible discussion about football rather than the playground for name calling that it typically degenerates into (see pretty much any Sams Town post). Some interesting analysis, I think your right about avoiding relegation being the #1 priority. I think you'll be alright, other teams in greater danger.
I guess Citeh took all their WC players out for the CL campaign then....?!
329.Madux There is only one United, Manchester United400 million + Fans all over the world, Best Manager in the world and soon to be the most successful Team that there ever was. so smile when you say that name!!!!
@332 take Messi out of the Barcelona team and they would be very ordinary. He adds the finishing touch of class. Its the same with van Persie at United, Ronaldo at Madrid, Suarez at Liverpool...when truly great players don't play their teams really miss their influence.
United appear anxious when RVP is not on the pitch........not surprising really.
stevdk - OK, don't go back quite as far as you, but wish I could turn back time to bring back the North Bank, Bonzo, Brooking, et al!
