Arbroath sealed a ninth straight league win with a defeat over Albion at Gayfield Park, courtesy of a last-minute penalty from Steven Doris.
Derek Holmes' close-range shot after 18 minutes put the home side ahead, after he latched onto a Colin Hamilton cross.
Albion levelled on 26 minutes when Ciaran Donnelly's header found the corner of the Arbroath net.
However, it was the home side who always looked the likely winners and it was Rovers' Alan Reid who sent in a 92nd-minute corner that led to Donnelly handling, leaving Doris to step forward to secure all three points from the spot.
