Uganda coach wants rule change

Uganda coach Bobby Williamson wants the Confederation of African Football to change its rules for Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers that end level on aggregate and which cannot be decided by away goals, arguing that extra-time should be played instead of going straight to penalties.

On Saturday, the Cranes beat African champions Zambia 1-0 in their final 2013 Nations Cup qualifier to draw level 1-1 on aggregate - but they then lost 9-8 in the penalty shoot-out which followed immediately afterwards.
