Liverpool's Fabio Borini breaks a bone in his foot while on Italy duty

Liverpool forward Fabio Borini has broken a bone in his foot while on international duty with Italy.
The 21-year-old, who joined from Roma in July, had been training with the Italian Under-21 squad for their fixture against Sweden.
It is not known how long the striker, who is yet to score in the Premier League, will be out of action.
The injury means Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has only Luis Suarez available as a recognised striker.
Borini, a former Chelsea trainee, moved to Anfield in the summer for an undisclosed fee reported to be in the region of £11m.
He scored on his home debut in August in a 3-0 win in Europa League qualifying against FC Gomel, but has yet to find the net again.
Liverpool loaned Andy Carroll to West Ham on transfer deadline day, leaving only Suarez and youngsters Daniel Pacheco, Samed Yesil, Jerome Sinclair and Adam Morgan as possible striking options.
The Reds are currently 14th in the table and take on 18th-placed Reading at Anfield on 20 October.

Fair question 26.
Let me enlighten you.
The BBC's chief footbll writer Phil McNulty is a Liverpool fan. That's the main reason.

Well actually he's an Everton fan, but whatever keeps you going!
For global appeal only Man U can better this

What about Real Madrid, Barcelona, AC Milan or even Celtic.
No WE won't!!
Not until WE have justice
The liars won't win
You obviously do not understand scousers.
The more you deride us, the stronger WE become
I’m sure it’s only a matter of time until we’re where our performances deserve. Having said that Borini has no future at the club, he is the next vorinon and hopefully he won’t be round too long.
Not everyone can come in and start banging in the goals for a team who have struggled to find the net over a year. Crouchy took 19 games if I remember right to score (in any competition), so don't all jump to any conclusions yet...and he's on the wing.
In Rodgers we trust.
