Stockport 1-0 Kidderminster

Sean Newton's first-half penalty earned Stockport a victory against lowly Kidderminster.

Newton put away a powerful spot-kick after loanee defender Josh Gowling had brought down Danny Hattersley.

Only a fantastic diving save from Nathan Vaughan denied Alex Kenyon from securing the victory late on.

Gowling had the chance to make amends for his earlier error two minutes from time, but was unable to apply the finish to Kyle Storer's free-kick.

Burr felt Harriers deserved point

"It just wasn't to be. I think the first half was as good as we'd played all season and we're disappointed with a few decisions that went against us.

"We've created enough chances to have got something but the ball didn't seem to fall for us in the right areas.

"The run that we've been on has been good, and you saw today that they had to change their shape in the first half to try and accommodate the way we're playing."
