Woking 2-1 Cambridge

Woking ended their three-match winless run with victory over Cambridge.

Kevin Betsy's cross from the right set up Bradley Bubb to head home his seventh goal of the season.

Bubb then missed a glorious chance for his second from Gavin McCallum's pass, before Betsy made it 2-0 from inside the box.

Robbie Willmott touched in Danny Andrew's corner to close the gap and Cambridge substitute Andy Pugh saw his shot deflect onto a post.

Hill hails 'vital' three points

"They've won their last four games, (have) players looking to impress and we knew they were going to be tough - the last 25 minutes were very tough.

"We've dug in deep and stayed strong, and if we'd have drawn it would have been a hard pill to swallow.

"I think what we didn't get on Saturday we certainly deserved to get tonight. It's a vital three points"
