Chairman Bob Dorrian says Lincoln City are still looking to leave Sincil Bank and are also in talks with a backer who could invest "substantial funds".
The cash-strapped Imps have struggled to compete financially with many of their Blue Square Bet Premier rivals.
But Dorrian told BBC Lincolnshire: "We have another director who we will probably announce in the new year.
"And we are talking to another person who is looking to put in a substantial amount of money."
Dorrian added: "We are bring very pro-active in terms of bringing in new investors into the football club.
"We are still in conversations with various people with regard a move from our current site at Sincil Bank.
"We are going to visit a couple of new Football League grounds that have been built so we can get some ideas."
