Holdsworth hails 'hard- fought' win

"There's good characters in there. In the second half we showed a little bit more willingness to have a go, upset a few people and get in their faces."

Lincoln, who are now 15th in the Blue Square Bet Premier table, have taken seven points out of a possible 12 in their last four matches.

"I've got a half-decent little squad," Holdsworth added. "I haven't been able to field my strongest side in terms of mentality and maturity.

"That's been a big blow to us over the last six to eight games and probably more than that.

"That's hard for any manager, especially when you have a small squad, and are operating under certain restrictions.

"I must give credit to all the players as they have all dug in."
