Ten-man Rochdale held on to claim a point against Bradford.
Bobby Grant was sent off for a challenge on Rory McArdle after 34 minutes, which sparked a heated exchange between managers John Coleman and Phil Parkinson.
Home goalkeeper Josh Lillis saved a glancing header from Luke Oliver and Ricky Ravenhill's drive as the Bantams piled on the pressure.
An Andrew Davies shot was also cleared off the line by Dale's Joe Rafferty.
VIEW FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Rochdale manager John Coleman told BBC Radio Manchester:
"To be honest, I thought we defended better with 10 men than we did with 11.
"Bradford are a good side and they put us under pressure in the first 20 minutes, and we didn't really get too many chances around their box.
"I can't comment on the sending-off because I was complaining. I thought we should have had a foul before that.
"But by all accounts it was deserved and we're not going to try and defend people. We've had a word with Bobby and we'll have another word with him when we show him the video."
