AFC Telford 2-4 Newport
Leaders Newport County came from behind to defeat nine-man Telford United.
Kieron St Aimie slammed the ball into the top corner to give Telford the lead before Aaron O'Connor fired low past Ryan Young to equalise for County.
Dan Preston turned the ball into his own net before St Aimie was sent off.
Yakubu slotted in Jake Thomson's free-kick before Preston then became the second Telford player dismissed, while Andy Sandell made it 4-1 from 25 yards before he headed into his own net.
Preston's red card - for the second of two fouls in 12 minutes on Jefferson Louis - came on his return to the Telford team following a six-match ban after his previous sending-off at Luton in August.
VIEW FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Telford manager Andy Sinton told BBC Radio Shropshire:
"The first sending-off, they're saying there's some sort of small punch been thrown. I'll have to deal with it when I see it.
"Then the second sending-off, petulance crept in a little bit. The boys care, but we've got to keep a lid on it.
"We lost our discipline, and I feel let down as we were the best side against probably the best side we've played."
Newport manager Justin Edinburgh told BBC Wales:
"It was a very important three points. I never underestimate coming to Telford. They've been on a good run and they're certainly a better side than they were last year.
"I thought we were unfortunate to go behind in the game but, once we got that goal just before half-time, I thought we would go on and win.
"We showed good discipline, as we have all season, and hopefully that will continue."
