Tunisian club Esperance have signed Ghana striker Emmanuel Clottey on a three-year contract.
The 25-year-old striker was presented to the media on Thursday and will wear shirt number 23.
He will be eligible to play in the last four rounds of the Tunisian league championship but not the Champions League.
Having already played for Berekum Chelsea in the continental tournament, rules forbid him from representing another club in the same competition.
But he will be available to play in the Fifa Club World Cup in December should Esperance retain their African Champions League crown.
The Berekum Chelsea player is reported to have cost Esperance a fee in the region of US$ 1.5 million.
Clottey has been one of the revelations of this year's Champions League and currently heads the scoring charts with 12 goals.
He made a cameo appearance for the Black Stars as they beat Malawi 2-0 in an Africa Cup Cup of Nations qualifier on Saturday.
His Ghana team-mate Harrison Afful has been on the books of the Tunisian giants for the past three seasons.
