Middlesbrough maintained their 100% start at the Riverside with a hard-fought win over struggling Ipswich.
Luke Williams scored Boro's first when he fired in from the edge of the penalty area.
Mustapha Carayol sealed the victory for the Teessiders with a 12-yard effort in stoppage time.
The visitors went close through Tommy Smith, who forced a save from Jason Steele, and Paul Taylor, who fired wide from distance.
Steele also prevented Michael Chopra from getting on the scoresheet, palming away the former Cardiff forward's 12-yard strike.
Tony Mowbray's Middlesbrough had other opportunites, with Aaron Cresswell clearing a header from Ishmael Miller, who also had a close-range shot beaten away by keeper Scott Loach.
George Friend's 20-yard shot was cleared by Luke Chambers, while substitute Lukas Jutkiewicz flashed a left-footed shot wide.
The win leaves Middlesbrough seventh, and just two points off leaders Blackburn, while Ipswich sit in the bottom three on goal difference.
