Donegal Celtic find themselves at the bottom of the Irish Premiership after a 3-1 defeat by Coleraine at Suffolk Road

Coleraine remain just one point behind Premiership leaders Cliftonville after their win away to Donegal Celtic.

Kyle McVey scored from close-range in the fourth minute after a ball in from the right.

Curtis Allen pounced to make it 2-0 in the 17th minute after Aaron Canning's free-kick fell to him in the box.

McVey turned in his second and Coleraine's third before Mark Miskimmin headed Donegal Celtic's sole reply on the hour mark.

Coleraine are up to third, still just a point behind Cliftonville who had beaten them 5-1 at the Showgrounds three days earlier.

Oran Kearney's Bannsiders are at home to Lisburn Distillery on Saturday, while Stephen Small's Celtic face a testing trip to Ballymena United.
