Watford defender Adam Thompson moves to Wycombe on loan

Watford defender Adam Thompson has joined Wycombe Wanderers on a month-long loan deal.

The Northern Ireland-born central defender, 19, has played 12 times for the Hornets, scoring once.

He has previously had two loan spells with Brentford, where he hit one goal in 22 appearances.

Manager Gary Waddock told the club's website: "He's been on our radar for some time and we're delighted we've been able to bring him to the club."
