Bury's Lenell John-Lewis 'can learn from David Healy'
Lenell John-Lewis believes the arrival of Northern Ireland striker David Healy at Bury will improve him as a player.
Both players scored in the on Saturday and will be battling Andy Bishop and Lateef Elford-Alliyu for starting places up front.
John-Lewis told BBC Radio Manchester: "All of us are different strikers. We can all compliment each other and we can all learn from each other.
"We can learn a lot from David with the experience he's got."
John-Lewis, 23, added: "Competition is always good because it forces you to up your game. I don't think it can be a bad thing for anyone.
"At the end of the day, we're on a team and we want to work hard to get goals and wins for the team."
John-Lewis has played 78 times for Bury since joining from Lincoln in August 2010, although only 17 of them have been starts.
The Shakers, who have failed to win any of their three games in League One this season, host Notts County on Saturday.
