Sheffield United's Danny Wilson wants Stephen Quinn to stay
Sheffield United boss Danny Wilson says he "would love" to keep midfielder Stephen Quinn.
The 26-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from Bramall Lane as the League One club look to reduce their budget.
Wilson told BBC Radio Sheffield: "I expect him to go because he's a good player but I'd love to keep him.
"No one has come in for him at the moment and I'll be delighted if he stays here."
He added: "He's the hub of all our good play and he creates problems for the opposition because he's such a quality player."
Quinn has made 206 league appearances for the Blades since joining the club from St Patrick's Athletic in the Republic of Ireland.
Wilson admitted last week that he was unable to play midfielder Nick Montgomery or striker Richard Cresswell because of financial issues.
Both players are expected to leave before Friday's 23:00 BST transfer deadline.
