Liverpool remain second bottom as Lincoln come from behind to win
Remi Allen hit a late winner as Lincoln came from two goals down to beat Liverpool 3-2 and climb to third place in the Women's Super League.
The midfielder struck after goals by Lucy Staniforth and Precious Hamilton had cancelled out Hannah Keryakoplis' double strike for the Reds.
Liverpool are second bottom and nine points adrift of Chelsea, who sit one place above them.
They now face in-form local rivals Everton on Wednesday.
Striker Keryakoplis had opened the scoring with a long distance lob in the 16th minute as Matt Beard's team edged the first half.
The Wales international then doubled the lead 13 minutes into the second period, this time drilling in an excellent 20-yard drive.
But Lincoln fought their way back into the contest when a quickly-taken 66th minute free-kick led to midfielder Staniforth reducing the arrears.
Four minutes later the scores were level as striker Hamilton neatly headed home.
And after further pressure from the visitors, Allen forced the ball over the line in a goalmouth scramble to snatch victory.
The result left Liverpool pointless from their two matches since Beard took over as manager from the sacked Robbie Johnson.
