Women's Super League: Leaders Arsenal thrash Doncaster

Jordan Nobbs

Midfielder Jordan Nobbs struck twice as Arsenal beat Doncaster Belles 4-0 to move eight points clear at the top of the Women's Super League.

Katie Chapman and Kim Little followed with a goal apiece to leave the Belles stranded at the bottom of the table.

Kelly Smith set up the fifth-minute opener for Nobbs, who struck home a 10-yard shot from the striker's pass.

Smith provided the assist for the second goal, crossing perfectly for the former Sunderland midfielder to tap in.

Chapman bagged the third goal two minutes before half-time, racing forward to drill a 15-yard shot into the net.

And the scoring was completed 15 minutes from time as an excellent move was finished off with a sweetly struck 20-yard drive by Scotland international Little.
