Portsmouth: Winger Jordan Obita signs on loan from Reading
Portsmouth have signed teenage winger Jordan Obita on a one month's loan from Premier League side Reading.
Oxford-born Obita, 18, had loan periods at Barnet and Gillingham last season.
His signing brings the total of new players signed by Portsmouth manager Michael Appleton on loan or short-term contract in recent days to 15.
Appleton told BBC Radio Solent: "Jordan's highly thought of at Reading. He's quick and lively and can play off the striker or wide."
On Saturday, all 11 players who started Pompey's opening League One fixture - the 1-1 draw against Bournemouth - were making their debuts for the club.
Pompey, who are in administration, saw all their senior players leave this summer as the club strove to avoid liquidation.
Obita, who has made six appearances for the England Under-19 team, joins goalkeeper Mikkel Andersen (also Reading), midfielder Conor Clifford (Chelsea) and defenders Paul Connolly (Leeds United) and Kevin Long (Burnley), all of whom joined Portsmouth on short-term loans in the hours leading up to the Bournemouth fixture.
The club also signed 10 players on one-month contracts last Thursday.
