Glenavon fight back to earn a draw against Glentoran in the Premiership clash at Mourneview Park.

Former Glentoran striker Mattie Burrows fired into the top corner in the 87th minute to secure a draw for Glenavon.

Before the break, Andy Coleman saved well from Andy Waterworth and Elliott Morris tipped over a Guy Bates header.

Waterworth drilled home a superb shot past Coleman after Sean Ward had nodded the ball through in the 44th minute.

Bates was wide with a free-kick in the second half and after Burrows levelled, Richard Clarke went close to sealing a win for the Glens but he shot wide.

Bates had a chance for Glenavon early in the match but he just failed to connect with a Kyle Neill cross.

An attempted clearance by Glenavon cannoned off Stephen Carson onto the bar.
