Goals from Robbie Winters and Rory McAllister moved Peterhead up to second with a win over Clyde.
However they were indebted to Clyde's Stuart McColm, who blasted his 19th-minute penalty wide after he was brought down in the area by Ryan Strachan.
Winters compounded McColm's misery when he gave the Blue Toon the lead just a minute later with a superb volley from 30 yards.
McAllister then scored from the spot for the visitors in the 29th minute after Clyde's John Kane was deemed to have fouled James Redman in the box.
The home side had chances to close the gap in the second half but never really troubled Paul Jarvie in the Peterhead goal.
