Smith wants GB football teams in Rio

Arsenal Ladies striker Kelly Smith believes a lack of a Great Britain football team in both the men's and women's game at the 2016 Olympics would be "a shame", saying it "really needs to happen".

England's all-time record goalscorer reveals playing at London 2012 was a "once in a lifetime opportunity" and wants future British footballers to be able to experience the biggest tournament in the women's game.

Team GB's ladies lost to Canada in the Olympic quarter-finals, while the men's team were knocked out at the same stage after a penalty shoot-out against South Korea.
