Coleraine ease to an opening day win with a 3-1 victory over Crusaders

Coleraine started their Premiership campaign with an impressive win over Crusaders at the Showgrounds.

Curtis Allen lifted the ball over keeper Sean O'Neill to put the Bannsiders ahead and Paul Owens fired in number two after 32 minutes.

Coleraine skipper David Ogilby blasted a 30-yard free-kick into the bottom corner to make it 3-0.

Crusaders substitute David Rainey found the net with three minutes left but it was merely a consolation.
