Exeter 0-3 Morecambe

Morecambe opened their League Two season with a comfortable victory at Exeter thanks to two goals from Andrew Fleming and one from Izak Reid.

Fleming swept in the first from 18 yards following Craig Woodman's poor pass across his own box.

Keeper Artur Krysiak's mistakes then saw him lobbed by Fleming from 30 yards and again by Reid after the Pole hesitated on the edge of his box.

The Grecians had plenty of possession but could not find the net.

A disappointing start - Tisdale

Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale told BBC Radio Devon:

"It's a disappointing start to the league.

"I thought our first half an hour was very proper and solid, I'm disappointed with our second half performance"

"We had a lot of the ball and didn't use it well enough today.

"I think we could play that first half all season, and we wouldn't go in three-nil down again."
