Palace manager Dougie Freedman is looking to strengthen his squad ahead of the new season.

Championship club Crystal Palace are reported to be in talks with French striker Alexis Allart.

The 25-year-old, who began his career at Monaco, scored 12 goals in 32 starts for Ligue 2 side Boulogne last season.

Palace manager Dougie Freedman has made bringing in a new goalscorer one of his close-season priorities and Allart may be available at around £300,000.

Last week Palace lost defender Nathaniel Clyne to Premier League newcomers Southampton.
