Carrick Rangers delayed their seemingly inevitable relegation from the Premiership with this win over Lisburn Distillery at Seaview.
Kyle Owens opened the scoring for Carrick in the 21st minute with a header from an Aaron Harmon cross.
Midfielder Paul Heatley added the second on 37 minutes when he slotted the ball under the goalkeeper after good work by Anto Lagan.
Andrew Ferguson headed in from a Neal Gawley corner after 58 minutes.
The result is a blow to the Whites' hopes of avoiding a promotion/relegation play-off, with Glenavon and Dungannon Swifts also still in the mix for the two-leg showdown with Championship side Newry City.
