Huddersfield 1-0 Scunthorpe
Lee Novak's late winner secured play-off bound Huddersfield victory over Scunthorpe.
The visitors dominated early on, and almost took the lead when Bobby Grant's free-kick cracked against the post.
Jimmy Ryan's tame effort then grazed the upright and Grant again smashed the woodwork as Scunthorpe pressed.
The Terriers' Jordan Rhodes saw a goal disallowed for offside, before Lee Novak was put through to slot home and secure the three points for the hosts.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Huddersfield manager Simon Grayson told BBC Radio Leeds:
"There was a feeling around the ground that the job had been done last week, but you have to grind out those results, they're very important.
"We keep saying to the lads before every game we've made things difficult for other teams, and we have to keep doing that.
"We're delighted with performance because when you don't play great you've got to win, and we did that today."
Scunthorpe United manager Alan Knill told BBC Radio Humberside:
"We definitely dominated possesion which was the thing that we worked on, I'm a big believer that if the players are going to get better they've got to have the ball.
"You expect Huddersfield to come out of the blocks and put you under pressure but (we) weathered it and grew into it.
"We've got no squad, absolutely no squad. Unfortunately the better team hasn't walked away with the three points. We lost today but the performance was excellent."
