Cowdenbeath are one win away from promotion from the Scottish Second Division after a victory over struggling Stirling Albion.
A goal in each half moved the leaders seven points ahead of Arbroath with three games left, while Stirling are now five adrift at the bottom of the table.
Cowden took an early lead through Lewis Coult, who neatly finished. Marc McKenzie's sixth-minute cross.
Stirling missed a glorious chance to level when Scott Davidson was fouled in the area by John Armstrong and Davidson's spot-kick was well saved by Thomas Flynn down to his left.
The visitors wrapped up the three points in the 89th minute as top scorer Marc McKenzie clinically fired past Stirling goalkeeper Callum Reidford for his 15th goal of the campaign.
