MK Dons 1-2 Brentford

Brentford held on to beat MK Dons and maintain their slim hopes of snatching a League One play-off place.

Clayton Donaldson put the Bees ahead with a fine finish from a narrow angle following a quick counter-attack.

Jonathan Douglas doubled the lead soon afterwards when he stroked a brilliant first-time effort into the top corner.

Shaun Williams pulled one back from the spot after Karleigh Osborne bundled over Charlie MacDonald, before Jabo Ibehre struck a post at the death.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Brentford manager Uwe Rosler told BBC London 94.9:

"Credit to all my players, they have been fantastic today.

"In the first half we were clearly the better team and the penalty was a gift for them

"My players gave the right answer today, they showed we can play very good counter-attack and a quick passing game

"The wins are down to growing confidence within the squad."
