Rio Ferdinand talks social media

Manchester United and England defender Rio Ferdinand talks to BBC Sport's Leon Mann about a training day the New Era player agency has set up to teach young footballers how to use modern media.

Ferdinand believes players could use tools such as Twitter to put their own story across in their own words and to get information out to the wider world instantly.

The former West Ham trainee says he wished he could have had training on how to deal with the media when he was younger.
