Southport 5-0 Stockport

Tony Gray and Shaun Whalley scored two apiece as play-off chasers Southport hammered struggling Stockport.

Gray opened the scoring with a free-kick and Stockport's Carl Piergianni put the ball into the roof of his own net for 2-0.

Whalley volleyed home before he was fouled for a penalty by Hatters goalkeeper Ian Ormson, who was sent off, with Gray scoring the kick.

And Whalley found the bottom corner for the game's final goal.

Stockport had to play the final 19 minutes with 44-year-old goalkeeping coach Bernard Hirmer in goal following Ormson's red card.
