Torquay 1-2 Bradford
Torquay's winning streak came to an abrupt end as Bradford inflicted their first defeat in 2012.
It started well for the hosts when Danny Stevens swept home a fine strike from the edge of the area.
But Kyel Reid's cross was turned in by Craig Fagan to restore parity, before the roles were reversed and Reid smashed home Fagan's pass for 2-1.
Mark Ellis later headed against the post for the Gulls, who had previously won seven games on the bounce.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Torquay United manager Martin Ling told BBC Radio Devon:
"I don't think we performed to our best today. We're above our station, they're below theirs.
"They did to us what we've done to other teams; been dogged and determined away from home"
"You can't keep pulling rabbits out of the hat to turn things round.
"I'm disappointed but not downbeat. It doesn't make us a bad side."
Bradford City manager Phil Parkinson told BBC Radio Leeds:
"We put in a strong performance today with Flynn back adding mentality to the team.
"It was back to how we can play and when we use our wide men we could feel something was going to happen.
"This run in games in March is going to be a great opportunity to show everyone that we can really produce at this level."
